Avalon sits north of the Bucharest lake chain, nestled in a cluster of ponds, Pipera Pond and Green Pond, where ADN BA designs a new area of the city and one of their largest and most complex projects.
Avalon is a residential alveolus attached to the river. Although deeply anthropic, it allows permeation by natural and indigenous flora that it further uses as infrastructure for fauna, in a rarely encountered balance in Bucharest. The housing is also very diverse. Even the type units planimetrically differ in landscape and light-ing, cardinal orientation, and their relationship with the neighbourhoods.
