The urban villas on the corners of the housing islands quote the interwar building with a courtyard typical in the city center, where apartments respond to the efficiency needs of small lots and a fast-paced society that can no longer attend to a garden like the ones in the older neighbourhoods of Bucharest. With two or three apartments per floor, the corner houses are surrounded by balanced gardens furnished with seasonal and perennial plants, while having enough space to secure intimacy without completely disconnecting the houses from the common spaces.
